Observed Browser Storage
The demo uses local browser storage to maintain state without requiring an account login. The following data are explicitly stored in the browser's localStorage:
- Virtual-coin balance: Your current play-coin total.
- Fractional payout carry: Any fractional remainder from a previous settlement that persists across rounds, refills, and page reloads.
Clearing cached files may remove these values if the browser deletes local storage. The absence of an account system means there is no server-side backup of this data; if you clear your local storage, the balance and carry are lost.
Third-Party Requests
An observed third-party request in the page template is the loading of Google Fonts stylesheets and font files. This is a standard web typography request and is not related to game logic or coin tracking.
Wallet Persistence and Limits
The demo wallet has specific persistence rules that differ from traditional online accounts:
- Restoration: A manual idle-only restoration sets the balance to exactly 1000 play coins when the balance drops below 10. This is a manual action, not an automatic refill.
- Unfinished Rounds: If you reload the page during an active round, the captured stake remains deducted. The round ends without refund, payout, or continuation.
- No Cash Value: The virtual coins used in this demo have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
Privacy Scope and Limits
Because this is a demo environment, the following are not guaranteed:
- No promise of anonymity or data encryption.
- No guarantee that personal data is not processed by third parties (e.g., Google Fonts).
- No guarantee that data is not sold or used for profiling.
